Blog: Bitcoin enables banking services for everyone
There are currently 1,7 billion people in the world without their own bank account. Often, these people are in the most vulnerable position, with no access to traditional banking services. Most people living without a bank account are from Africa, Asia, and South America. However, the proportion of people living without a bank account is also relatively high in many Western countries.
