The transition period for MiCA ends in Finland

Northcrypto's application for the Crypto-Asset Service Provider license is still being processed causing some temporary restrictions.

              
The Act on Providers of Virtual Currency Services (572/2019) has been repealed and replaced by the Act on Providers of Crypto-Asset Services and Crypto-Asset Markets (402/2024) (referred to as the Crypto-Asset Services Act), which came into effect on 30 December 2024. The transition period in Finland has ended June 30th 2025.
Northcrypto's CASP license application is still being processed, causing some temporary restrictions for services.
